Post Dieta Guide
Understanding and Completing your healing process with Master Plant Dieta
After you complete an Ayahuasca & Master Plant Dieta with us at The Garden of Peace, your entire system on levels physical, energetic and spiritual will be extremely sensitive and open.
You are now full of strong plant medicine that has been carefully aligned by the Curandero. However, now you need to give that process 30 days to set in place properly.
This is a contract with the plant spirits and yourself. Please be aware that breaking post-diet can cause serious harm to yourself.
The post-diet is part of your treatment and you can expect to experience continued strong plant energies throughout this integration period. So please be mindful of the energetic environments you are in, try to stay relaxed, avoid confrontations or overly stimulating experiences till your dieta is in place.

GENTLY SPICED PUMPKIN SOUP
Sautee 1 large diced onion and 3 cloves of garlic with or without oil, (simply use a little water if your still in the first 5 days)

Add 2 cups of chopped peeled pumpkin or butternut squash
Add 1 cup of chopped sweet potato
Cover everything with water and cook till it’s all is soft.
Blend smooth in a blender or with hand blender

LENTIL BOLOGNESE
Sautee onion and garlic in a saucepan till soft
Add 2 cups of cooked brown lentils
2 cups of chopped fresh tomatoes
1 teaspoon of dried oregano or mixed italian herbs
½ a cup of water
1 tablespoon of tomato paste (check for preservatives)
When all is reduced to a nice thick Bolognese sauce season with salt and pepper
Serve with pasta and fresh chopped basil.
ROAST VEG SALAD
Peel and dice up a bunch of root veg such as sweet potato, beets, pumpkin or carrot, zucchini or bell peppers are nice too. Toss the vegetables with a small amount of olive oil and salt then roast on a tray in the oven till golden and soft. If not using oil you can add a small amount of water to the tray and cover it with tinfoil to stop them drying out.
Make a salad of whatever mixed salad greens you like and toss the warm roasted vegetables through. Add a hard boiled egg on top if you want. Sprinkle with toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds and if it is after day 5 some slices of avocado. Season with salt, pepper and fresh chopped green herbs like basil or parsley.
BANANNA PANCAKES
In a bowl combine
2 mashed banannas
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1 egg (leave this out for a vegan option)
A pinch of salt
Then sift in 1 and a half cups of flour, gluten free if you have it
Stir to combine, adding water as needed to make a good pancake batter consistency,
You can also add blueberries to the mix if you have them, yum.
Cook in a non-stick pan or with very small amounts of coconut oil.
Serve with chopped fresh fruit.
GOOD MORNING OATS
1 cup of rolled oats
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon of dried cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of honey
1 cup of water
Combine all items in a saucepan and gently heat adding more water if needed. You can also use nut milks such as almond or soy milk after day 5 but check that they are preservative and sugar free. Serve with fresh fruit such as banana, papaya or berries. For extra digestive support grind all the seeds before adding to the oats.
FULL POWER ANTI-FLAM CHICKEN BROTH
Using a slow cooker is the best way to do this. It is an excellent medicinal food for supporting gut health and building strength if you feel week after your dieta.
Place one whole organic free range chicken into a slow cooker and cover totally with water.
Add a teaspoon of grated fresh turmeric, one peeled and crushed clove of garlic, a pinch of black pepper, half a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of grated fresh ginger.
Turn on low and cook overnight.
In the morning separate the chicken meat from the broth and bones. This meat can be eaten separately or shredded and added back into the broth with some vegetables for an epic chicken soup.
Return the bones to the broth and cook on low for another 3 hours.
Strain all the broth through a sieve and discard the bones.
Let the broth settle and then if you like you can skim off any excess fat which is settling on the surface of the broth. Though, if you are feeling weak or super skinny I suggest leaving it in.
This broth can then be cooled and stored in jars in the fridge for up to a week or frozen to use later. Add it as a base for soups, for sautéing vegetables or cooking grains in like rice and quinoa. This broth is high in minerals and collagen as well as anti-inflammatory properties which can repair the gut and nourish a depleted system.
