After the rains…
After the rains…
December to April in our part of the world marks monsoon season and all of life including that at The Garden slows down a bit. This includes our formal retreats even though our dedicated Curanderos still receive small numbers of guests. Overall though , the pace is slower and members from the rest of the team often take some time out to visit their families or explore other places, in my case I’ve been in New Zealand reconnecting and sharing my experiences in the Jungle. Hopefully inspiring those who feel called to make a journey, discovering for themselves this incredible sacred path.
Now we are close to starting a full schedule of retreats again. May 25th will mark the start of our first “official” 10 day master plant dieta since January. New huts are ready to receive guests and already we have many wonderful people arranging to visit, heal and transform in The Garden of Peace.
There is something so special about returning to earth that has been washed and washed and washed clean with so much rain. For months the plants drink deeply, the river roars and the air is dense with misty moisture at all times. Then the energy shifts as things dry up, new growth springs forth and long sunny days return, shining light and warmth on us all.
I am so ready.
